Been a while. As per usual. *chuckles* I'm so slack.

So, I haven't had any new art recently. This is due to a rather exciting change: I moved in March, and things have been understandably hectic. I haven't been able to draw much at all. In fact the only drawings I have done are in preparation for a mural.
In the meantime, I don't have my scanner at the moment since it had to stay at my old house; for a while at least. I was hoping the old one could be repaired so I could use one or the other, but it looks like it might be permanently dead after all. Boo.
So, no new art for a while.
I also really need to figure something out for my sculpture stuff. Right now most of my supplies are not even at my new home. I don't have anywhere to put any of it. And much of the art supplies I do have here are not that accessible. This simply will not do.

Anyway, that's the big news these days; I've got a flat of my own (with my best friend, or 'heterosexual life mate', to quote Jay and Silent Bob).

That and I finally went and bought my laptop, and named it Ocelot. It fills me with glee!

But the biggest change in my life these days is that I have a partner. :3 I honestly never thought I'd be able to say that.
I'm happy. :heart:

I think I only have a few outstanding trades. Two for sure. Plus a few other drawings that I had just wanted to get done for friends. You can wait awhile if you want, but do feel free to send a note with a description so I have something to work from if I happened to get into drawing mode.
As for me, I'm not picky. I would just appreciate that someone took the time to create something for me at all. I've got a number of characters in my gallery that might give you some ideas. Like my Niabol Bill, or any of his relatives. You could write a story about them. Or pick a random drawing and make something up about what you think may have been happening to lead up to that moment. Honestly, no need to be scared about it.

Ya that's what I figured a commission and a trade was, but I wasn't quite sure, and I didn't want to have a misunderstanding. If you have a bunch of trades already, then maybe I'll leave you to those. If we were to trade in the future, it would have to be a story. I wouldn't feel good writing a poem for you, as my poems are generally less than a page. For a story then, what would you want it to be about? Like, I would be kinda scared, because I wouldn't want it to turn out and you NOT like it, you know?

Well, if you wanted me to draw something for you, I'd like to be able to get something back for my efforts. A commission would mean that you would pay for a specific image.
A trade on the other hand would mean that you could draw me something in return for me drawing you something. I do lots of trades with people. It doesn't even have to be a drawing. I'd trade for poems, stories, artwork, crafts, whatever.

I should warn you right off that I'm pretty slow about trades due to work and other fun stuff getting in the way a lot. So if you do want to do a trade with me, you'd just have to keep in mind that I might be pretty slow about getting my half done. I also have a few other trades that need to get done.

I heard from Bothchi that you had wanted to use that particular image as an avatar. I'd rather that people not use drawings that were meant for something else specifically.
However, I might be able to make your own avatar as either a commission, or a trade or something.
Maybe send me a note with some details and I'll see what I can do.
