Time for a new entry here.
Just because I'm tired of staring at my last one.

Working on another pet portrait; hoping to have that done very soon. Other than that, I don't have anything going on art wise. I'm not one of those people who can take emotion and turn it into artwork. I'm the kind of person who finds her creativity completely bolloxed when I'm depressed. So alas, not likely to be any regular updates.

I do however have one long term project coming up. But I don't expect it will even be started any time soon, and whenever I do get around to it, it could be a very long time in the making. But I'll just say that I recently acquired a lot of saddle skirt grade leather. And will be making something neat with it. Hopefully.

Take care, all.

Say,Wolfsjal,I have seen your wolf mask and I was wondering if you could make a quick tutorial of making it.I´ll be attending Anthrocon 2009 and I´ll run the wolfs panel,so we need as many ideas for costumes and masks. Please, contact me at wolfy45@gmail.com
hey there

Thanks for checking out my work. I'm not sure if I would recommend making a mask the way I did for that one, as it was extremely low budget and there are a lot of things I'd do differently if I were making another one.
I basically used cardboard, newspaper, and masking tape, and lots of it. Once I had the shapes I wanted, I covered the whole thing in Bondo, which is a filler for cars. It's not a good idea for something like this. *laughs* Then I sanded it down as best I could (which wasn't very well) and slapped some paint on.
The eyes are those decorative glass blobs that you can get in craft stores, and vision is through the tear ducts underneath.

Again, I wouldn't really want to make a tutorial for this particular method (if you can call it that) but I guess it came out alright considering that it was very quickly slapped together.

Good luck with your panel!
You have absolutely awesome works. I really admire your style. :)
