duck hotel

The island of Vigur has this really neat 'fence', which is over a hundred years old apparently. It doesn't really function as a fence, but rather, it's a safe place for the eider ducks to nest. Female eider ducks like to return to the same nesting sites, and these 'duck hotels' are nice and sheltered.
